Welcome to the official Bottisham Model Flying Club website. Formed by the local farmer and a group of friends in 1989, the club is located on an old WW2 airbase just south of the village.

We always welcome new members, and if required offer friendly advice in choosing and flying your first aircraft or helicopter. We are even willing to give first time flyers flight training under the supervision of some of our resident members.

If the weather permits, most members fly weekends at our large regularly mown grass flying field, during the summer months, we also like to fly as often as we can in the evening.

At the flying site we operate an 'on the peg' frequency control system for 35MHz FM, and 2.4GHz spread spectrum technology. BBQ's are organised on various weekends throughout the summer months.
